There are more than 3000 persons in our
database. If in the narrative of a person you see a
A notation of "UNKNOWN" in this data base means that although the event did occur (for example a death), the facts of the place and date are not known. Under our privacy policy the known data on living persons is not shown in this public database except by only a notation of "LIVING", to indicate that a person does exist and is still living. In a few instances, it is obvious from the dates involved that the person cannot be living. Those are instances where staff has not yet edited the basic data in the computer to enter an "UNKNOWN" (see note above regarding "UNKNOWN."
